Canada Winter Games 2019 Highlights

Canada Winter Games 2019 Highlights

It only comes around every four years and is one of the biggest multi sport events around, second only to the BiG show itself (the Olympics).  Freestyle BC has historically done quite well and the games and it was a legacy that our mission staff, coaches and athletes intended to build upon.

Freestyle BC worked closely with the coaches, athletes and the TEAM BC mission staff to ensure we were prepared to make the most of this incredible opportunity.  If you followed the games you would know that our team did phenomenally well on the field of play and represented our province in a way that would make every British Columbian proud!

As our Mogul team arrived at the games, they started with the Aerials competition – a two-jump combined score format. This worked in Brayden Kuroda’s favour who ended up taking the win in the male category.
