Freestyle BC is proud to introduce the Female Coach Certification Bursary for the 2019-2020 season. We will be offering a FUNdamentalz entry level coaching course to eight female candidates free of charge.

Application deadline is October 15th 2019.

Goal: Developing fundamental instructional skills for kids in Freestyle Ski programs. Learn teaching progressions of freestyle specific skills and mechanics in:

• Mogul skiing skills
• Park and Halfpipe skills
• Air skills

Equipment: Helmet, tuned skis, poles

Performance expectations: Demonstrate basic skills in halfpipe, moguls and rails. An assessment is done on the coach candidate.

Prerequisites: Active Freestyle Canada membership license.
