Air 2 – Vernon

The Air 2 course will allow coaches to teach advanced acrobatics skills up to twisting single inverts. Coaches will be able to understand basic tramp acrobatic mechanics and invert progressions. Candidates will be asked to attempt inverted maneuvers progressions, demonstrate knowledge of moves and progressions through coaching. Goal: Developing fundamental instructional skills for kids in Freestyle Ski programs. Learn teaching progressions of freestyle specific skills and mechanics in: • Mogul skiing skills • Park and Halfpipe skills • Air skills Equipment: Helmet, tuned skis, poles Performance expectations: Demonstrate basic skills in Halfpipe, moguls and rails. Timber Tour | Big White

Due to lack of snow, Apex will be unable to build a full size slopestyle course for the Timber Tour category. Big White has generously offered to host the Timber Tour Slopestyle event for Freestyle BC on January 16-17. This was the best option of many that FBC considered to satisfy the needs of our athletes across the province. Registration is now closed. Athletes can register on site subject to space available.
