Josh Kober

May 25, 2022

After five incredible and productive years as our head coach for the BC Mogul Team, Josh decided to move up the coaching ladder and accepted the position of Head Coach for the US National Development Team. This is a significant accomplishment for Josh and a strong reflection of the programs we run at Freestyle BC. While we are incredibly proud of Josh and wish him well in his future endeavours, there is no doubt he will be missed by everyone in BC.

Under the leadership and direction of Josh, the BC Team produced the best athlete conversation rate in the country, with the most Provincial level athletes ascending to the Canadian National Ski Team. Further evidence of the program’s excellence is the high percentage of athlete retention yearly and the low percentage of injury in a sport inherent with risk. Josh built on our culture of excellence in a very measured and pragmatic way. His presence will be missed; however, his legacy will live on through our Team.

A few highlights during Josh’s tenure:
• Brayden Kuroda, Sam Cordell, Jessie Linton to NextGen (2019/2022)
