2019 – 2020 BC High Performance Teams Announced
June 2, 2019
The BC Mogul Team is delighted to see 8 athletes return to the program and is excited to welcome Chase Capacik to our roster. While we are sad to see Brayden Kuroda leave the program we are thrilled to see him move onto the National Program. Brayden will join fellow BC Team alumni Jordan Kober, Brenden Kelly and Sofiane Gagnon as they represent Team Canada on the international circuit.
Coach Josh Kober will return for his third season with Team BC and is excited to build on the successes of this past season to see more BC athletes achieve their goals.
“We are coming off an incredibly successful season for the BC Mogul Team. We are very excited for another off-season of training which includes; on-snow, water ramp, trampoline and dryland training. We train primarily in Whistler and also hold training camps in Oliver, Mt. Hood and Switzerland. We look forward to carrying our momentum into the training season and producing world class mogul skiers who are prepared and ready to perform come next winter” – Josh Kober

We are pleased to welcome back Mike Apps (head coach) and Sebastien Berthiaume (assistant coach) for their second season coaching our high performance team.
“We’re fortunate to have such deep talent pool of athletes stemming from a strong BC club system. Both Seb and myself agreed that we had one of the hardest working teams, and it showed in the athlete’s steady improvement throughout the season. We are very excited to further develop the athlete’s skills by having several training camps this summer/fall at the water ramps, Momentum, Mt. Hood and on the progression bag.” – Mike Apps
