Team BC Athletes Selected for Canada Winter Games

Prince Edward Island will be hosting the 2023 Canada Winter Games. This exciting event only happens every four years, by bringing the best athletes from around Canada together for two weeks of competition and to represent their province. In freestyle skiing, athletes are selected to compete in aerials, moguls, dual moguls, big air, and slopestyle. The 2023 Games Freestyle Events will take place at Crabbe Mountain in Bright, New Brunswick (Moguls & Dual Moguls) and Mark Arendz Provincial Ski Park at Brookvale, PEI (Aerials, Slopestyle & Big Air).

To be selected for Team BC is an amazing opportunity for the athletes to showcase their talents and to be connected as a larger community. New friendships will be acquired and lasting memories will be made.  With a strong list of talented athletes put Team BC in a great position. Freestyle BC and the High-Performance Committee established a Selection Criteria to help with the process of nominating athletes to produce the highest degree of podiums.
