What’s Shred Series?

This is a new spin on our Super Youth Festival.

After many conversations with clubs, coaches and parents, we’ve made changes that support athlete development and training for new judges and officials while reducing the time and financial challenges many families face and easing the congestion at the Timber Tour level of our event structure in BC.

What’s New?

• Shred Series events consist of a training day followed by competitions in Slopestyle and Moguls
• We’ve added a U16 age category
• Qualified athletes, supported by Certified Coaches, may be permitted to flip in competition provided they meet certain prerequisites. (contact your club or us to learn more!)
• Our amazing Volunteers, Judges and Officials will now be able to support the Timber Tour event on the Sunday where they can expand their understanding of Freestyle events.

It’s shaping up to be an amazing season and we hope to see you there!

Before registering, please ensure:

• The athlete(s) hold a valid licence (Club level at minimum) and are affiliated with a registered Freestyle Club.
• The appropriate RCR Waivers are complete (see below)
• You use the exact login information associated with the athlete(s) Snowreg account and athlete licence.

Nov 4th: General Registration opens at 7pm MST

Jan 13th – Jan 22nd: Late Registration (if available)

Jan 23rd: Unofficial Training

Jan 24th – 25th: Competition Days

• Waivers must be completed based on the athletes’ age at registration (not the age they will be at the event).
• You will receive an ID code for every waiver you complete.
• KEEP THESE CODES – You will be prompted to enter these ID codes during registration.

COMPETITORS 16 yrs & OLDER

• Complete the RCR Event Release Agreement
• This waiver must be completed by the competitor
• KEEP THE CODE – you will need it during registration!

COMPETITORS 15 yrs & YOUNGER

• A PARENT or LEGAL GUARDIAN MUST complete BOTH agreements.  
• Both agreements must be filled out in the COMPETITORS NAME (not the parent name)
• KEEP THE CODES – You will receive ONE CODE for EACH waiver
• You will be prompted to enter these ID codes during registration.

OFFICIALS, JUDGES, COACHES & VOLUNTEERS  

• Officials, Judges, Coaches and Volunteers are now required to register to support our events
• There is no cost to register – Thank you for your support!
