Developing and have excellent skiing skills and a basic knowledge of skiing mechanics are key elements in your development as skier and freestyle ski coach.

With great skiing skills and a basic knowledge of the sport, you will be better able to:

• Support your athletes in training and competition.
• Analyze performance.
• Plan and progress training and skill development blocks (4-6 weeks of on snow training sessions).

Equipment: Helmet, tuned skis, poles

Performance expectations: Demonstrate basic skills in all skiing aspects. An assessment is done on the coach candidate.

Prerequisites: Active Freestyle Canada membership license.
