The Skiing Skillz module is the first on-snow coach training module within the NCCP Competition Introduction (Comp Intro) Coach Pathway for Freestyle Skiing. Skiing Skillz is a requirement for coaches of competitive freestyle skiers at the Timber Tour level. The Skiing Skillz module is also an ideal next step for coaches who have completed the NCCP community stream “Fundamentalz on-Snow” course.

The Skiing Skillz module will provide coach candidates with an opportunity to improve their understanding, demonstration, and coaching of technical skiing skills that are foundational for skier progression and excellence for all disciplines of freestyle skiing.

On the day of the course, please bring tuned skis, a helmet, and poles, and dress appropriately to be out on the slopes all day.
