Freestyle BC is proud to be piloting a new program that will offer scholarships of up to $250 to athletes interested in taking their first coaching course.

Freestyle BC is looking for athletes that are registered with either a full-time BC Club Program or the BC Freestyle Ski Team. Athletes must be at least 16 years of age. This program is best suited for athletes with no prior coaching experience that are interested in taking the Freestyle Canada Club Coach Course.

The club coach course covers fundamental instructional skills for kids in Freestyle Ski programs. Candidates learn the basic teaching progressions of freestyle specific skills and mechanics for moguls, slopestyle and halfpipe skills. No previous coaching experience is required!

• Applicants must be registered with a Freestyle BC club or the BC Freestyle Ski Team.
• Must be a minimum of 16 years old.
• Have no prior coaching experience or coach training.
• Applicants must indicate the course in which they would like to attend.
• There is a limited number of scholarships available. Scholarships will be distributed when possible.
