The course is being targeted towards athletes that have been in a club or provincial team program.

A new coach starting to work with a Freestyle Ski Club will start their training with the CFSA Club Coach Program. The Club Coach program teaches the coach how to implement the Jumps and Bumps athlete skills. To advance these coaching skills a coach would enter into the Can Freestyle Supercoach Program.

Goal: Developing fundamental instructional skills for kids in Freestyle Ski programs. Learn teaching progressions of freestyle specific skills and mechanics in:

• Mogul skiing skills
• Park and Halfpipe skills
• Air skills

Equipment: Helmet, tuned skis, poles

Performance Expectations: Demonstrate basic skills in Halfpipe, moguls and rails. An assessment is done on the coach candidate.
