The first Timber Tour event, hosted by the Panorama Freestyle Club, delivered smiles for miles and miles.  It was such a memorable experience for everyone involved, and the list of highlights is a long as the mountain has vertical, which is well of 4000’ of epic relief.

From an observer’s point of view, the SY events looked like the best time ever; kids were encouraging each other and just generally so stoked to compete with their most rad tricks with their friends.

The Timber Tour was an epic competitive showdown with so much progression in all three disciplines.

They say an ounce of prevention = a pound of cure.  Well, the past several months of our collaborative planning between our host clubs, the events committee and Panorama Freestyle made for an excellent start to our competition season, a trend we are excited to build on after a two-year hiatus.

Events like these would not be possible without the tireless dedication of the many volunteers it takes to hold space, especially during these trying times.  A tip of the FBC cap goes to all the fantastic parent champions that led the charge from Panorama Freestyle Club, the Mountain Resort and the many parents that came in from other clubs to lend a helping hand; thank you all.
