Saas Fee

The BC Park and Pipe team wrapped up an unbelievable camp at the Stomping Grounds Park in Saas-Fee, Switzerland. These seasoned athletes enjoyed some unseasonably sunny days on the glaciers and were lucky to have 20-days of on-snow training. For anyone who has been to Switzerland in the fall, you will appreciate how rare this kind of weather window is. Fortune favours the bold!

The team was pushed by training alongside many of the world’s best skiers and snowboarders as they prepared for the 2022 winter Olympic Games. Our BC Team athletes rose to the occasion by taking all of the tricks they had previously trained on the trampoline, water ramps and progression bag to snow. This was arguably the best on-snow training camp the team has had to date.

When not on snow, the team enjoyed exploring the Valais region of the Alps, skateboarding at Alaii Chalet, surfing at Alaii Bay and visiting downtown Geneva. The team’s trip to Switzerland will be looked back upon fondly and create a perfect foundation for the team’s upcoming competition season that kicks off at the end of the month at Mt. Sima, YK.
